EMC Corporation is seeking a Senior Advisor, Business Intelligence at its Round Rock, Texas facility. May work remotely.
Duties:
Develop, report and present business insights and opportunities to improve business performance. Analyze the effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives and storage demand generation programs, applying knowledge of customer needs, industry, and competitive trends. Identify root causes and propose achievable solutions for storage business priorities and challenges. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress. Perform forecasts, POVs, and risk analysis for storage product lines and business segments. Translate data into actionable insights and compelling data visualizations. Conduct analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments. Manage weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables and support BMS. Assist in preparing for executive reviews. Collaborate with product line managers, pricing, sales, sales operations, marketing, and finance teams to automate reporting solutions.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering (any) or related field plus six (6) years of experience in project management, marketing analysis or a similar occupation OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering (any) or related field plus eight (8) years of experience in project management, marketing analysis or a similar occupation.
Requires experience with:
extracting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data for analysis; BI tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and ThinkCell for analyses and presentations; statistical concepts and data modeling approaches; advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data visualization; performing root cause analysis for data-driven solutions; and translating numerical data into business insights.
