SNI Technology has partnered with a growing organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Data Platform & Analytics team. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of business strategy, Agile delivery, and modern data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with enterprise data platforms, gathering business requirements, supporting Agile teams, and helping drive scalable analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment. This role is a blend of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, and Scrum facilitation, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide data and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business users, data engineers, architects, and BI teams to gather and define detailed business and technical requirements Translate complex business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions Assist with backlog management, prioritization, user stories, and feature planning Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming Lead requirements gathering sessions and discovery workshops across multiple business units Create and maintain process documentation, data mappings, business requirements, and training materials Coordinate UAT efforts, data validation, and QA activities to ensure successful project delivery Analyze and troubleshoot data issues using SQL and reporting tools Support change management initiatives and adoption of enterprise analytics platforms Collaborate with leadership teams on roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, or hybrid BA/PM roles within data or analytics environments Strong experience working with Databricks and modern cloud-based ETL/ELT processes Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, Fivetran, or similar pipeline technologies Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools including Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred:
Experience supporting enterprise data products or self-service analytics platforms Familiarity with medallion architecture, Delta tables, streaming pipelines, and data governance concepts Certifications such as CSPO, PMI-PBA, CAP, or similar are a plus This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-moving team focused on building and scaling enterprise-wide analytics and data platform capabilities. #SNIT
