This is a hybrid 3+ month contract to hire opportunity.
Pay Range:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour based on experience The Senior Business Systems Analyst works with business partners within multiple business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. This role provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members while maintaining in-depth knowledge of applications and staying current in technical enhancements, methodologies, and trends related to the assigned application(s). The analyst will identify technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduce potential risk, and improve end user experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build relationships with business partners who leverage ServiceNow with a goal to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, maintain platform designed standards and governance, and communicate effectively between business and technical users Develop an in-depth understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, potential design and integration of technical solutions, including upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts Work with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationship between teams Own the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements Partner with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification Facilitate scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicate with business partners on story status and follow-up Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization's needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions Build roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience 4-8+ years of related experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Data Analyst 1+ years of hands-on experience with
ServiceNow Desired Skills:
ServiceNow platform knowledge and experience Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent tool Experience facilitating groups sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion Problem-solver mindset; ability to work through grey areas independently with minimal supervision Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Demonstrate technical skills and the ability to learn technology Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
