- Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Systems Analyst to serve as the primary resource for our ERP platform and related operational systems.
This role is critical to optimizing business processes across inventory management, purchasing, pricing, product management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP and business systems expertise, along with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions. This position acts as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities ERP Administration & Business Systems Support Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the company's ERP system Maintain product, inventory, vendor, customer, and pricing master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency Establish and enforce governance procedures for system changes, data management, and user access Support system audits including security, access, and compliance controls Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders Assist with ERP upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and future system modernization initiatives Product & Pricing Governance Manage vendor pricing updates and bulk data import processes Develop standardized procedures to process pricing updates from various formats (spreadsheets, PDFs, etc.) Maintain integrity of product master data and classification standards Partner with Purchasing and Sales teams to ensure accurate and consistent pricing Business Process Improvement Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify process improvement opportunities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements Recommend and implement system and workflow improvements Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making Deliver insights on inventory, purchasing, sales, pricing, and operational performance Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization Documentation & Knowledge Management Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, and operational procedures Develop training materials and support knowledge transfer initiatives Ensure documentation supports consistency and business continuity Strategic Initiatives Support ERP modernization, migration, and integration projects Contribute to long-term technology strategies and business transformation efforts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of ERP administration or business systems experience Experience with inventory, purchasing, pricing, product management, or supply chain operations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, transformation, large datasets) Experience with bulk data imports and data validation processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Proven ability to translate business needs into practical solutions Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor Eclipse, Prophet 21, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP Business One, or similar Background in distribution, petroleum, HVAC, construction supply, or related industries Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business analytics solutions Experience with ERP implementations, migrations, or integrations Knowledge of vendor pricing management and product master data governance
