We are building a modern, scalable finance function that can support growth without sacrificing rigor, efficiency, or clarity. The Revenue Accounting Analyst is a newly created role responsible for owning the company's entire Order-To-Cash workflows and leading initiatives which are critical to revenue recognition. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have a front-row seat to SBS' accelerated growth. Our flat hierarchy enables frequent interaction with SBS' CFO and Executive Team as you advise them through regular and ad-hoc reporting. Your insights will quickly become key inputs into strategic decisions. This is an independent contributor role. However, we are seeking leadership potential as our growth will demand it and this role may quickly evolve. Must be located within commutable distance from Madison or Sioux Falls, SD. Why SBS? What You'll Do Order-To-Cash Processes Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure that opportunities are accurate and complete Manage sales invoice process Daily and Monthly Accounting Functions Manage deferred revenue processing Maintain clean GL account reconciliations Financial Reporting Prepare, review and distribute financial reports for assigned responsibility areas Provide ad hoc reports as required Sales Tax Management Reconcile sales tax and review sales tax returns Stay up to date on changes in sales tax law What You Bring Detail oriented and systems focused Builder mindset with leadership potential Knowledge of GAAP, financial regulation, and sales tax laws Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with leading ERPs Deadline driven multi-tasker 2-5 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong communication skills Located within commutable distance from Madison or Sioux Falls, SD.Bonus points if you:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel This position requires up to minimal travel.
