Technical Business Analyst#26-06246 Charlotte, NC Plano, TX Jersey City, NJ Hybrid Contract Starts 8/01/2026 Ends 7/26/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Jersey City, NJ, or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a strong Technical Business Analyst to support a sanctions technology portfolio, with a focus on Agile delivery execution, backlog management, requirements analysis, and coordination across business, operations,pliance, and technology teams. This role will partner closely with the Product Owner and act as a key liaison between stakeholders and the delivery team to ensure work is clearly defined, prioritized, and executed.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Product Owner, business stakeholders, operations teams, and SMEs to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements Support the Product Owner by managing backlog hygiene, story dposition, epic/story creation, prioritization support, and Agile ceremonies Own and maintain JIRA artifacts, including epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and status tracking Translate business requirements into clear, testable requirements for developers, QA, and UAT teams Facilitate working sessions to remove ambiguity, clarify scope, align stakeholders, and support delivery execution Use SQL and data analysis to support issue analysis, requirements validation, operational research, and traceability Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure stories are implementation-ready and aligned with business intent Support delivery in a regulated environment with strong attention to controls, documentation, data quality, and operational detail Contribute to process improvement, reporting, and cross-team coordination across the sanctions technology portfolio
Requirements:
7 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technical delivery support Strong Agile / Scrum experience in a delivery environment Strong hands-on experience with
JIRA:
backlog management, epic/story creation, acceptance criteria, refinement support, and dependency / progress tracking Experience supporting a Product Owner or serving as a Product Owner delegate Strong SQL skills for analysis, validation, data research, and troubleshooting Strongmunication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working in aplex, regulated banking or financial services environment Ability to understand both business process and technical implementation detail Desired skills: Prior experience in Sanctions, AML, Financial Crimes, Compliance Technology, or Transaction Screening Understanding of banking LOBs, products, and end-to-end operational flows Experience supporting regulatory, audit, orpliance-driven initiatives Experience with process flows, data mapping, use cases, and requirements artifacts Familiarity with testing lifecycle / UAT coordination / production support SAFe Agile / Product Owner related experience or certification preferred Pay range: $43.56 - $51.56 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
