Senior Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client, a privately held, U.S.-based real estate investment and development firm, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Operations team in Dallas. This role reports to senior operations leadership and plays a key part in incentive compensation administration, operational and financial reporting, and performance analytics across a large, multi-market real estate investment platform.

Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing compensation-related data, models, and processes, while supporting the design and administration of incentive compensation programs aligned with broader business and compensation strategies. This position also partners closely with Financial Planning & Analysis leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, portfolio performance analysis, and executive reporting. This role focuses on leveraging existing systems while improving automation, data quality, and reporting capabilities through analytics and visualization tools. The Senior Business Analyst collaborates cross-functionally with Accounting, Capital Markets, Legal, and regional operational teams to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership. This is an on-site role for a highly analytical, self-directed professional who enjoys building scalable processes, working with complex data sets, and supporting data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, financial planning & analysis, operations, or compensation analysis
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience building, maintaining, and improving financial or compensation models
• Proficiency with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QuickBase, OneStream or similar)
• Working knowledge of financial reporting systems and supporting technology platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for executive-level reporting
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Collaborative mindset with proven experience working across cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• MBA or advanced degree
• Python or advanced automation experience
• Real estate, investment, or financial services industry experience The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
