Process Safety Management Consultants provide Process Safety Management support and expertise in interpretation, implementation, execution, and documentation of OSHA's Process Safety Management standard 1910.119 requirements for a leading manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX , with the objective of supporting adherence with applicable regulations and management systems. Key Responsibilities - Process Safety Management Consultant Support all PHA ( Process Hazard Assessment) activities, including but not limited to the update and development of Process Hazard Assessments Guiding our team to identify hazards and evaluate existing safeguards Ensuring the analysis aligns with NFPA 652 and
NFPA 660
requirements Analyze and identify areas where combustible dust and ignition sources have the potential to be present and define safeguards, including reviewing process documentation and facility layout Inspection, testing of critical safeguards (Verify SAP work orders for inspection, testing, and PM of critical safeguards identified as part of the control room fault tree and LOPA analyses.) Assist with other PSM activities, including the closure of PSM-related action items not listed in this Scope Required Skills and Knowledge- Process Safety Management Consultant Verifiable field experience in: Facilitating PHA and DHA events Use of PHA-PRO Software Facility Siting FN Curve Calculations Leading Cause Maps for Facility Siting Applications General PSI knowledge Education and Experience - Process Safety Management Consultant High school diploma or equivalent Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to meet production workflow with quality assurance, safety-minded, and attention to detail.
