Job Requirements dugway proving ground, UT Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Duties Help Investigate traffic violations and criminal acts by collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine cause. Oversee emergency fleet operations dispatch, maintenance, and security, to ensure daily operational readiness. Monitor contractor performance to verify all work complies with the contract terms and specifications. Utilize automated systems to file police reports, track purchase card transactions and inventory records in accordance with regulations. Conduct physical inventory of equipment and property to identify any lost, damaged, or unserviceable equipment. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Appointment is subject to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. Incumbent must complete and pass a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter. This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. This is a Mission Essential position. In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergency situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations. This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position. Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement 10% of the time. Incumbent required to work in shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Shifts are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis. Due to the nature of this position, incumbent will be required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime. Possess a valid state driver's license in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. Incumbent must have successfully graduated, unless a waiver is approved, from the United States Army Military Police School Civilian Police Academy. Incumbent must be able to successfully pass and obtain training certification in CPR/first aid and other emergency medical procedures and other certifications as prescribed by regulations or statutes. Incumbent must pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT) within 30 days of hire date and annually thereafter and comply with and maintain the requirements of the Individual Reliability Program (IRP). Incumbent is subject to a one year probationary period unless previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11. Obtain and maintains defensive drivers course (DDC) requirements. Obtain and maintain a government motor vehicle operator's license. Incumbent is subject to possible civil action due to improper exercises of authority or injudicious use of force in the apprehension or detention of individuals. Must comply with and maintain the requirements of the Individual Reliability Program. Incumbent must be able to successfully pass and obtain training certification related to police work functions in all

Qualifications Who May Apply:
US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes conducting traffic incident investigations; interviewing witnesses to collect and analyze evidence in preparing detailed investigative reports; utilizing automated systems to maintain and track records such as police reports, activity logs and property books in accordance with established regulations and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone
