Job Description:
Program Analyst Job Summary:
Sparks Group is seeking a Program Analyst to support a federal client in Arlington, VA . This will be a long-term contract position requiring you to have an active TS clearance and to work onsite in Arlington, VA five (5) days a week. To be considered, applicants will be asked to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI).
Program Analyst Responsibilities:
Conduct research, data analysis, and technical assessments to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of advanced research and development programs. Develop and maintain program documentation, including briefings, reports, schedules, milestones, and status updates for government leadership and stakeholders. Monitor program performance, budgets, deliverables, and timelines to identify risks, track progress, and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Coordinate with government personnel, military representatives, research institutions, industry partners, and contractors to facilitate program activities and information exchange. Prepare executive-level presentations, analytical reports, and decision-support materials to assist leadership in strategic planning, program oversight, and resource allocation.
Program Analyst Requirements:
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or mathematics required. 4 years of equivalent Program Analyst experience required. Experience in a Research and Development environment. Demonstrated creativity, foresight, professionalism, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving financial, business, administrative, or program management problems. Experience developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining financial budgets and tracking financial milestones. Experience creating and coordinating budget and acquisition documents. Experience organizing meetings; developing briefings to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience interacting with multiple internal and external personnel while demonstrating excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills on a daily basis.
