Category Acquisition Type Full-Time Salaried Company Nakupuna Consulting Overview Nakupuna Companies is looking for an Acquisition Analyst to support a DoW Field Activity reporting to OUSW(R&E) at Ft. Belvoir. The ideal candidate will have experience building or running acquisition programs. This candidate will share leading best practices and innovative strategies to enhance the execution of acquisition activities for our customer. This candidate should be familiar with military customs and courtesies, have strong oral and written communication skills, have deep understanding of the government acquisition process, and knowledge of DoW structures, programs, and initiatives. Responsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job, but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Advise senior leaders during the requirement planning phase, requirement package development, production of reports and data, and documentation and maintenance of business rules. Deliver executive-level management and oversight. Support data analytics, data collection, and metrics development throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Identify opportunities to apply innovative strategies for procurements and utilize quantitative analytics and visualizations that provide insight into the contracts portfolio. Advise and assist in establishing useful acquisition data collections from existing systems. Design and deploy cutting edge measurement approaches for evaluating effectiveness of new policies and procedures. Prepare and analyze acquisition reports and briefs, responses to queries, justifications, and background papers on the technical aspects of areas of expertise and assignment. Establish working relationships with stakeholders essential to effective project planning and execution. Provide expert advice to agency directors and senior staff on strategies for achieving transformation-level objectives within the organization. Possess extensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and agency supplements as required. Assist in the development and maintenance of management tools, templates, training and program governance and reporting. Liaise with applicable stakeholders to maintain accurate forecast and accountability of upcoming requirements. Qualifications Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Must possess strong numerical and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated capabilities in researching, collecting, and synthesizing large and complex datasets or databases and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Self-motivated and self-monitoring, exceptional oral and written communications, and ability to multi-task. Highly proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Location:
Onsite at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.Education and Experience:
This position requires a bachelor's degree, DAWIA or FAC-C certification in contracting, and at least five years of acquisition experience in the DoW.Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.Physical Requirements:
In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to use stairs without assistance. Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
