Revenue Management activities include strategy, deal management, and product pricing. In short, Revenue Management strives to offer the "right" price, on the "right" item, to the "right" customer, through the "right" channel, at the "right" time, for thousands of items to thousands of different customers, through multiple businesses. Exceptions Management operates within Revenue Management to develop pricing strategy and execute pricing operations that fall outside of standard contract pricing structures. Exceptions management is a growing force within Revenue Management, driving a significant proportion of our overall generic pharmaceutical sales. Because of increased flexibility to apply and execute on creative new ideas, Exceptions Management is likely to continue to grow in importance. Responsibilities + Manage recurring daily, weekly, and monthly product pricing processes. + Cross train and maintain personal operational readiness on the full suite of team tasks. + Complete ad hoc requests and problem solve. + Assist with pricing inquiries and customer pricing setups. + Work to integrate new technologies and strategies. + Utilize, review, and update standard operating procedure documents. + Works both autonomously to knock out tasks and as part of a team to cover gaps and solve problems. + Moves swiftly from one varied task to another. + Does not become content with "good enough," and is comfortable with continuous improvement and the frequent changes that accompany that team mindset. + Strives to work smarter, not harder, and prioritizes efficiency. + Maintains strong focus and attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture by recognizing how individual processes and solutions are consistent with, and integrated into, the overall strategy. + Seeks more than just a superficial understanding and embraces the chance to be a subject matter expert. + Develops comprehensive knowledge by achieving a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to deliver significant positive sales and margin impacts for Cardinal Health. + Communicate and collaborate effectively across functions such as IT, Marketing, and Fi To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
