4034190 Job Summary Job Summary The Infrastructure Automation Technical Business Analyst (BA) acts as the crucial link between business stakeholders, IT operations, and automation engineering teams. They are responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting opportunities to automate infrastructure services (cloud and on premises) to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure compliance. This role requires a blend of deep technical understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and strong business analysis capabilities to translate requirements into actionable technical specifications.

Required Technical Skills Infrastructure Automation Tools:

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines).

Scripting & Programming:

Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting.

Cloud & Virtualization:

Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and VMWare/virtualization technologies.

Database & Monitoring:

Familiarity with SQL and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

Operating Systems:

Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.

Required Soft Skills & Experience Experience:

3-7+ years of experience in technical business analysis, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.

Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation failures.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Methodologies:

Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications such as IIBA (CBAP), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Administrator Associate. Experience in a highly regulated industry such as Aerospace and Defense. The pay range for this role is $110k - $120k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
