POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Data Analyst II role requires a disciplined, driven, and problem-solving individual who can connect technical capabilities to scalable global business solutions. This role is responsible for designing, architecting, implementing, and supporting scalable enterprise data and analytics solutions utilizing both Husco and external data sources. The position supports modern cloud-based analytics architecture, enterprise data modeling, curated reporting layers, and scalable data transformation frameworks that enable timely, reliable, and data-driven business decisions. Successful individuals will develop a strong understanding of Husco business operations, manufacturing processes, and enterprise systems to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions. The role requires an individual committed to continuous improvement, data quality, and enabling trusted self-service analytics across the organization. Successful individuals will be self-motivated, customer-focused, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing technical depth with strong business communication.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Data Engineering & Architecture:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse architecture, Delta tables, data pipelines, and curated data layers. Support the evolution of enterprise analytics capabilities including scalable semantic models, AI readiness, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.
Data Transformation & Modeling:
Develop and maintain standardized, reusable, and analytics-ready data models to support enterprise reporting and operational analytics. Create curated fact and dimension structures with consistent business logic and clear grain-level definition.
Data Quality & Governance:
Support enterprise data quality initiatives through implementation of validation rules, monitoring processes, and integrity checks within data pipelines and transformation layers. Maintain trusted and reliable analytical datasets by addressing upstream issues.
Business Intelligence & Analytics:
Develop business intelligence and reporting solutions utilizing Power BI and enterprise analytics platforms. Deliver intuitive and scalable solutions that support operational insight and decision-making.
Enterprise Business Partnership:
Collaborate with business stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and finance to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and analytics enablement.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Remain current on modern analytics technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise reporting capabilities. Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions, support standardization efforts, and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, enterprise reporting, or cloud-based data platform development. Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise analytics, reporting, and data transformation solutions within modern cloud or hybrid data environments. Demonstrated experience with relational databases, SQL development, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data warehousing concepts. Experience supporting cloud-based analytics and reporting platforms utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, or similar enterprise analytics solutions. Experience supporting ERP-integrated analytics and enterprise data environments within manufacturing or operational business environments preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Availability for occasional morning or evening meetings to support global operations across the UK, India, and China. Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 5-10% as required to support global operations and project initiatives. Authorized to work in the United States. (HUSCO
