Job Description

Professional Siloam Springs, AR 1st Shift $25/Hour Job Details Our client is seeking an experienced Temporary Purchasing Agent to provide short-term support to their purchasing team. This assignment is expected to last several months and will focus on assisting Buyers with the resolution and cleanup of past-due unreceived invoices while helping maintain accurate purchasing records and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Temporary Purchasing Agent will collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and purchasing personnel to investigate discrepancies, reconcile records, and ensure purchasing transactions are completed accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for a purchasing professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Assist Buyers with researching and resolving past-due unreceived invoices
Review purchasing records and identify discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to obtain necessary documentation and information
Update purchasing records and ensure data accuracy within purchasing systems
Monitor outstanding purchase orders and assist with follow-up activities
Support purchasing and procurement processes as needed
Maintain detailed records and documentation related to purchasing activities
Generate reports and assist with data analysis when required
Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies
Perform additional administrative and purchasing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous purchasing, procurement, or buyer support experience required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to analyze information and resolve discrepancies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience working with purchasing, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred
Experience with Oracle and EAM purchasing systems is highly beneficial
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
