Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Inquiries about costing ≤ad time & sample Placing purchase orders to the plant and follow up on the status of orders
Sourcing & Vetting:
Research, evaluate, and interview suppliers based on price, quality, speed of delivery, and reliability.
Negotiation:
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Procurement:
Review purchase requisitions, prepare bid specifications, and issue purchase orders (POs).
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, forecast future purchasing needs, and track incoming shipments.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and resolve disputes over damaged or defective goods.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed files of orders, invoices, and supplier performance metrics.
