Buyer Job Description The Buyer will assist in activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, and supplies for the organization. This role requires strong Excel skills and experience with SAP to support the Purchasing Team during their transition to SAP. Prior buying or purchasing experience, including vendor negotiation and creating purchase orders, is essential. Responsibilities Assist in procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, and supplies. Support the Purchasing Team during their transition to SAP. Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms. Create and manage purchase orders. Essential Skills 2+ years of buying or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. SAP experience. Proficiency in Excel. Experience in vendor negotiation and purchase order creation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with T-Codes. Planning experience. Electronics industry purchasing experience. Work Environment Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The team consists of 2 Buyers, 3 Buyer/Planners, and a Purchasing Manager. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Camarillo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
