This role is critical in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of parts and supplies required for production. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has a working knowledge of ERP systems, and is committed to maintaining accuracy across all purchasing and inventory activities. Logistics experience a plus Key Responsibilities Assist the Materials Manager in sourcing, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies required for LSV production. Issue and track purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and lead times. Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and supplier non-conformances. Participate in Cycle Counts and annual Physical Inventory. Source and schedule shipments of vehicles via Dispatch software. Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or materials support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience working within an ERP system (SAGE experience strongly preferred; equivalent systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar will be considered). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across departments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the automotive, LSV, golf cart, or light vehicle manufacturing industry. Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) concepts and processes. APICS CPIM or similar supply chain certification is a plus. Experience with basic inventory control and cycle count procedures. Experience with logistics and import functions Work Environment & Physical Requirements Works primarily in an office environment with regular exposure to a manufacturing plant floor.
