Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Procurement Agent to join our Government Satellite Supply Chain Team in El Segundo, California . This position will provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance; and will lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4 : Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanc e Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and condition s Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreement s Interprets and enforces contract terms and condition s Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issue s Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commoditie s Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategie s Position Responsibilities - Lead Level 5 : Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirement s Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objective s Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategie s Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation proces s Prepares and executes negotiated document s Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirement s Manages contract termination s Develops organization and company improvement plan s This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Typical Education/Experience:

Senior Level 4 : Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Lead Level 5: Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
