Focus :

procurement and cost optimization of fiber optic and related electronic components for cable assemblies, ensuring supply continuity, production readiness, and margin target s. Core Responsibilit iesSource and purchase fiber optic components, cable assemblies, and related materials for production ne edsNegotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms to improve margins and ensure supply stabil ityReview and validate BOMs for cost accuracy, availability, and part correctn essManage supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery or qual itySupport inventory planning, demand forecasting, and production schedul ingIdentify supply risks, shortages, and market changes; develop mitigation pl ansCollaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, sales, and plann ingMaintain accurate procurement and forecasting data in ERP/MRP syst emsDrive process improvements in procurement, planning, and inventory managem ent Required Experience & Sk ills10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related funct ionsStrong background in fiber optics, optical connectivity, networking hardware, or related electronics manufactu ringDirect experience sourcing fiber optic components is essen tialStrong knowledge of BOM structures, inventory control, and supplier manage mentExperience in fast-paced manufacturing or production environm entsProficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced E xcelStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving sk illsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abili ties
