(BDI) Business Data, Inc. (BDI) is a service organization dedicated to meeting customer needs. Our success is measured by how well we support our customers, stay aligned with company goals, and resolve issues efficiently. Position Summary BDI is seeking a Purchasing, Facilities, and Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, inventory control, and facility-related services. This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The position also supports facility maintenance, internal departments, and administrative and accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Inventory Create, process, and verify purchase orders following company guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of parts, components, and supplies and coordinate ordering with vendors. Track order status and production schedules; identify delays and expedite orders when needed. Obtain pricing, availability, and product specifications from suppliers to achieve best value. Secure best pricing for company purchases (excluding capital assets and financial services), with CEO approval. Handle returns, replacements, credits, and order changes. Support purchasing needs for all departments, including: Print department buyouts Department-requested parts and supplies General company purchases Provide inventory data to Accounts Payable (AP) department, including monthly and year-end inventory reports. Provide reconciled invoice documentation and cost descriptions to assist AP with invoice coding. Provide sales tax information as needed. Facilities Coordination Coordinate services for office and building maintenance, including: Bathroom, door, lighting, and fixture repairs HVAC and air conditioning services Copier maintenance Fire extinguishers and safety equipment Ensure compliance with inspections and safety requirements (e.g., fire inspections, equipment safety, hazardous waste documentation). Work with HR on company safety drills and related initiatives. Facilitate additional facility or company needs as requested. Administrative Support Provide telephone support for the Administration Department as needed. Provide invoicing support to the Automated Presort Department.
