Purchasing Specialist & Driver (BILINGUAL MADARIN)

Position Summary A growing import/export trading company in Los Angeles is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Purchasing Specialist & Driver. This position combines purchasing, local transportation, and warehouse support responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, and comfortable with both vendor communication and physical work. This position is classified as Non-Exempt (Hourly) and is eligible for overtime under California law. Key Responsibilities Independently source and purchase goods based on company needs Communicate and negotiate with vendors regarding pricing and delivery Compare market pricing to ensure cost efficiency Pick up merchandise using company vehicle (local routes within LA area) Load and unload products (up to approximately 50 lbs) Assist with warehouse organization and inventory Ensure safe handling and transportation of goods Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of purchasing or related experience preferred Valid California Driver's License (CDL not required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred Authorized to work in the United States Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently Compensation & Benefits $22-$30 per hour depending on experience Overtime pay in accordance with California labor law Stable full-time position; Growth opportunity into Purchasing Supervisor role Work Environment Combination of office, warehouse, and driving duties Local travel within Los Angeles area Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce.
