Position Summary:

Purchasing (Buyer) for Grocery;

Primary Food Products Job Responsibilities:

Reponsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Secure and analyzes quotations, negotiates, prices and term with suppliers and recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities .
• Review product performance and makes decisions to maximize sales performance as well as income performance.
• Manage the quality and performance of category products.
• Able to forecast procurement of category assigned and miantaining inventory level.
• Recommend new products and product lines for our category.
• Manage purchasing authorization levels for private and national brands.
• Minimum of three years experience.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Fast pace, detailed oriented and multitasking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven negotiating skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
