Job Description
Description This role represents a mid level strategic procurement position within the companies purchasing organization. The Buyer Level 3 is responsible for end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization in support of manufacturing operations, with direct impact on production continuity, cost control, and supplier performance. Skills Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Negotiation, Manufacturing, Cost management, Inventory management, Purchasing, ERP, SAP, Supply Chain Daily Responsibilities Issue and manage purchase orders for materials, components, and equipment Track supplier deliveries and ensure alignment with production schedules Conduct ongoing supplier communications to resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues Analyze demand forecasts and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly Review and update MRP/ERP system data for accuracy and planning purposes Evaluate supplier performance using scorecards and reporting tools Support sourcing projects, RFQs, and supplier negotiations Lead or support resolution of supplier-related issues impacting operations Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
