What to Expect We are seeking a highly technical Consumable Procurement Engineer who possesses strong semiconductor fab module knowledge and will focus primarily on consumable procurement for our advanced fab modules. This role is ideal for an engineer who deeply understands fab modules (Plating, Etch, Photolithography, CMP, Cleaning, Inspection, Thin Film, etc.) but specializes in translating those requirements into successful consumable procurement. You will serve as the key interface between module process teams and global suppliers to ensure we select, qualify, and procure the optimal consumables that meet performance, quality, cost-of-ownership, consistency, and supply reliability targets. What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end technical procurement of consumables for multiple fab modules in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing
Partner closely with Module Process Engineers to deeply understand process requirements, critical parameters, and success criteria for each module
Develop comprehensive consumable technical specifications based on current module needs and future technology roadmaps
Manage the full procurement cycle: supplier identification, RFQ preparation, technical evaluations, sample testing, qualification runs, supplier scoring, and final recommendations
Conduct rigorous technical assessments of consumables from global suppliers, focusing on performance, purity, batch-to-batch consistency, cost-of-ownership, and long-term supply reliability
Define qualification criteria, qualification plans, and negotiate commercial terms including pricing, volume commitments, supply agreements, and contingency plans
Track emerging consumable technologies and materials for fab modules; provide strategic input into procurement decisions, budgeting, and cost-reduction initiatives
Support new line setup, capacity expansion, and overall consumables strategy tied to manufacturing output goals What You'll Bring
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 7+ years of experience in semiconductor consumable procurement, materials buying, or technical procurement with a strong focus on fab consumables
Solid module-level understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes (Plating, Etch, Lithography, CMP, Cleaning, etc.)
Demonstrated success leading technical consumable selection and procurement projects in high-volume manufacturing environments
Strong ability to convert module process needs into clear, rigorous consumable specifications and evaluation criteria
Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and project management skills
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
