Job Responsibilities :
Negotiate contracts/pricing Purchase items/materials needed to support production Process order reqs, including POs Adhere to all compliance and ISO/GMP standards Identify, qualify & partner with suppliers, including int. suppliers Perform cost reduction analysis Address/resolve receiving/inspection/accounting issues with suppliers/clients Develop improved procurement/purchasing strategies/programs Review & monitor MRO Implement policies & procedures to track & report key metrics - support cost reduction & increased productivity Implement continuous improvement initiatives Research alternative sources for goods & materials Monitor market trends, competitor strategies & other suppliers Act as dept. POC Act as culture champion for the organization Other duties as needed
Job Requirements :
7+ years of relevant industry experience (Biopharma/Biotech experience highly preferred) - 2+ years international procurement/purchasing experience Bilingual (Spanish) required CPIM, CSCP or CPM Cert. preferred Excellent verbal & written communication skills Excellent strategic thinking Strong team leadership skills
