Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Negotiation Full Job Description Electroswitch is seeking a Buyer to support our manufacturing operations in Weymouth, MA. This position is responsible for purchasing materials, components, and services necessary to support production schedules and customer requirements. The Buyer will work closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to ensure material availability, on-time delivery, and efficient purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review MRP reports and purchase requisitions to support manufacturing requirements Procure materials, components, and services based on cost, quality, and delivery objectives Issue and manage purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules Expedite orders as needed to support production and customer commitments Coordinate with internal departments to resolve material shortages and supplier issues Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and order status Support inventory goals and continuous improvement initiatives Assist in identifying alternate suppliers and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and purchasing processes Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations preferred

Work Environment:

Combination of office and manufacturing environment. Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors.
