Adecco Creative and Marketing partnered with a social media platform to hire a Procurement Specialist.
Assignment Length:

Location:
Onsite in San Jose About The Team The Procurement Team plays a critical role in the business and is responsible for the strategy design and end-to-end processes involved in the purchase of goods and services in a sustainable and financially viable way in compliance with business standards. We are responsible for sourcing and onboarding new vendors, supporting the development of key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic overview of project procurement management activities and ensuring that purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strict accordance with legal requirements, project requirements, and business policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast quotes, and order services for internal stakeholders within the categories assigned by the d Service Center, in line with Procurement's tactical sourcing strategies
  • Execute procurement business processes, primarily focusing on P2P (Purchase-to-pay), but potentially other relevant Procurement processes. This entails conducting competitive bidding, contract negotiation and the processing of invoices and payments
  • Support service center leadership in process improvement initiatives to transform procurement efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Work with suppliers to improve performance in line with Procurement's performance metrics
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal adherence to Procurement policies and procedures
  • Discover, track, and resolve day-to-day P2P issues, and take actions to improve processes within the immediate scope
  • Responsible for regional metrics management, data analysis, and workout summarized report
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Indirect buyer experience.
  • Solid understanding of the procurement foundation, familiarity with procure to pay, end-to-end process and related systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and streamlining procurement processes to enhance efficiency
  • Ability to manage procurement performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and impeccable integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and navigate through competing demands.
