Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Buyer to join a dynamic machining business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing material. Your expertise will help optimize the machine shop. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to progress your buying career with a growing aerospace and defnese manufacturer. Responsibilities Estimating & Proposal Support Purchasing & Order Execution Supplier Management Cross-functional support Requirements Proven experience of working within a procurement / supply chain / estimating environment An understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally within a machining environment Ability to analise supplier quotes Knowledge of raw materials such as aluminum, titanium and other exotic metals ERP experience Ideally experience of reading engineering drawing
