Job Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grants Procurement Specialist to manage and track complex costs associated with infrastructure projects, grants, permits, and engineering services across multiple entities. This role requires expertise in grant management, capital improvement projects (CIP), and site development, with a strong focus on financial tracking and reporting at a granular level. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and able to navigate the intricacies of project codes, funding sources, and multi-entity financial structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grant management processes, including application tracking, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements. Track and manage costs for infrastructure sites, engineering services, permits, and other related project expenses across multiple entities. Maintain and reconcile project budgets using project codes, ensuring alignment with capital improvement projects (CIP). Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and funding agencies to ensure accurate reporting and financial compliance. Prepare detailed financial reports for grants, site development projects, and capital expenditures. Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying discrepancies and providing recommendations for cost optimization. Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation and coordinate with vendors for services related to infrastructure projects. Maintain accurate records of grant allocations, expenditures, and supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in grant management, procurement, or financial tracking for infrastructure or capital projects. Strong understanding of project codes, CIP processes, and multi-entity financial management. Proficient in financial management systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience with infrastructure, engineering, or site development projects is highly desirable.
