Job Description:
Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Temporary Procurement Coordinator ($35/hr) We're seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support full-cycle purchasing and contract activities for a public-sector organization onsite in Stockton,CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the requisition lifecycle: review requests, research products/suppliers, and ensure accuracy/compliance Support sourcing, evaluations, and vendor selection Assist with RFPs, bid packages, evaluations, and public solicitations Draft, review, and track contracts and service agreements through full lifecycle Serve as a liaison for vendors, purchasing, and P-Card administration Monitor contract spend, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define needs and improve processes
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in business, public administration, supply chain, or related field 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or contract administration experience Strong knowledge of bidding processes, contracts, and procurement compliance Excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Public agency experience
