Full Job Description Summary:
Responsible for procurement of all Outside Processing for mid-sized AS9100 aerospace company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but, are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as required. Responsible for creating purchase orders to meet outside processing production requirements in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for negotiating pricing and delivery from large supplier base. Selects vendors, assesses vendor capabilities, develops alternate sources, and evaluates vendor performance as related to outside processing. Interfaces directly with engineering to resolve vendors issues on specifications in a timely fashion. Responsible for managing the approved outside processing supplier list. Performs daily follow up and expedition of outside processing orders and reporting the status to operations team members the following morning. Interfaces with accounting department to resolve all outside processing purchase order and invoice issues. Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills required. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment handling high volume of outside processing purchase orders
