We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage the full procurement lifecycle for our busy construction and logistics hub. This is a high-volume desk requiring a candidate who is comfortable processing up to 50 Purchase Orders daily while maintaining 100% accuracy. Generate and track up to 50 Purchase Orders daily within the Sage ecosystem. You will ensure that every order is correctly coded to specific projects and cost categories to prevent delays in field operations.Three-Way Matching & Auditing:
Rigorously perform three-way matching by reconciling POs against Packing Slips and Invoices. You will serve as the primary safeguard for our cash flow, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure we never overpay.Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:
Lead the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle. You will source quality materials, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure favorable terms with vendors to maximize project profitability.Cross-Functional Liaison:
Act as the central point of contact between Estimating, Project Management, and Accounting. You will align procurement activities with strict budgets and tight project deadlines.Vendor Management:
Proactively manage supplier relationships, addressing backorders, lead-time delays, and quality issues to ensure zero downtime for our project teams.Requirements Software:
Proven proficiency in the Sage ecosystem is required.Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in purchasing, preferably in construction or manufacturing.Skills:
Expert-level knowledge of the three-way matching process and industrial sourcing.Traits:
