Position Specific Description Our Operating Fleet Sourcing Department within the Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain Business Unit is seeking a Senior Category Specialist to join the team in Juno Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities: Ability to interpret spend and market data, forecast demand and industry trends, and translate analyses into clear recommendations and measurable value-including cost reduction, cost avoidance, and rebate opportunities Proven experience planning and delivering end to end category initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, and risks while maintaining a consistent intake to award cadence. Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect category strategies to P&L impact, business risk, and operational outcomes. Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders across business units, leadership, and suppliers by translating business objectives into sourcing strategies and driving cross functional alignment. Deep supplier management experience including market mapping, developing strategic partnerships, executing RFx events, evaluating bids, negotiating pricing/terms/SLAs, and managing performance scorecards and corrective actions. High proficiency with analytical tools and the ability to convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Job Overview This role supports the category management function with source-to-pay activities and oversees sourcing related activities to ensure alignment with category strategies. Employees in this role regularly meet with Business Units (BUs) to collect requirements and feedback and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for categories in scope. This role meets with stakeholders on strategy development and regularly participates in cross-functional meetings.
