Job Description

We are seeking a Buyer II - Tooling to support procurement of manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and related production services in a fast paced engineering environment. In this role, you will manage the full purchasing lifecycle, including sourcing suppliers, issuing RFQs/RFPs, analyzing cost proposals, and negotiating purchase orders and long term agreements. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure tooling and equipment are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with technical requirements to support critical production schedules. The ideal candidate brings experience working with industrial equipment or tooling suppliers, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting. You will track supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and procurement practices. A working knowledge of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and quality standards is important, along with a proactive, solutions oriented approach to supporting operational success.
Compensation:
