Job Description
Fresca Farms is looking for a motivated individual who has minimum one year experience in the flower industry as a fresh cut flower procurement specialist. The position requires someone who is a team-player that can work efficiently in a fast paced environment to make sure the client's orders are filled in a timely manner. Punctuality, organization, and positive attitude are a must. The successful candidate will process incoming orders; verify accuracy of orders, and vendor invoices for our customers. He or she should be extremely detail-oriented. We need someone who can handle a lot of correspondence via email and phone calls from vendors and salespeople. Purchasing experience is required and floral purchasing is preferred. Must have strong customer service skills. Must be proficient in excel and word. Bilingual. Spanish and English is required. Duties Process incoming orders Verify Accuracy of orders Verify Accuracy of invoices Ability to successfully manage large amounts of correspondence Communicate with vendors and salespeople on a professional level Requirements Bachelor's Degree 2+ years' experience in Procurement can substitute for educational requirement Purchasing Experience/Floral Purchasing is a plus Experience with customer service and client communication Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Intermediate to advanced 10-key skills Proficient in Excel and Word Familiarity with accounting software programs Must be Bilingual English/Spanish Benefits A competitive salary Medical, dental and vision coverage Life Insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401 K with company match
