Job Description Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of complex electronic components and commodities Plan and execute purchasing activities based on MRP requirements Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements Ensure on-time material delivery to support production schedules Resolve supplier issues including quality, delivery, and pricing discrepancies Support NPI and ECO processes, including material readiness and transitions Develop inventory reduction and supply chain optimization strategies Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, and Quality teams Track KPIs and generate reporting to measure supplier and material performance Identify and qualify alternative suppliers as needed MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
8+ years of purchasing experience in electronics or contract manufacturing Strong knowledge of electronic components and/or PCB/bare boards Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments Proven ability to negotiate cost savings and manage supplier performance ERP experience required (Syteline preferred) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills APICS CPIM or similar certification is a plus Must meet ITAR requirements (US Person status required) What's on
