CAPEX Project Procurement Specialist -
Tallahassee, FL Pay:
$48.08/hr | Temp-to-Hire | On-Site | Relocation Assistance Available Seeking a CAPEX Project Procurement Specialist to support capital investment projects involving equipment, tooling, automation, construction services, and other project-based expenditures. This role partners with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Maintenance, and EHS teams to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include leading procurement activities for CAPEX projects, managing RFx processes, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, warranties, and service agreements, tracking project milestones, conducting market and cost analyses, supporting contract administration, and providing procurement updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related experience
  • 3-5 years of procurement, sourcing, project purchasing, or supply chain experience
  • Experience supporting capital equipment, automation, tooling, facilities, construction, or CAPEX projects preferred
  • Strong project management, contract negotiation, supplier management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • PMP, CPSM, CPM, CPIM, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
