Job Description

Dackor is a manufacturer and distributor of decorative surface materials serving the cabinet, furniture, RV, retail fixture, and architectural markets. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage material purchasing and inventory control activities. Position Summary The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that materials are available when needed while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This role will manage purchase orders, monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain accurate records within our ERP/accounting system. Primary ResponsibilitiesPurchasing Create and issue purchase orders for films, adhesives, packaging, and other production materials. Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements. Maintain supplier relationships and communicate regarding orders, lead times, and delivery schedules. Follow up on open purchase orders and expedite deliveries when necessary. Assist in obtaining quotations and comparing supplier pricing. Inventory Management Monitor inventory quantities and reorder points. Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/accounting system. Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with cycle counts. Coordinate physical inventory counts and reconciliations. Analyze inventory usage trends and recommend stocking levels. Administrative & Reporting Ensure purchase orders, receipts, and inventory transactions are accurately entered. Generate inventory and purchasing reports. Assist management with inventory planning and material forecasting. Maintain organized purchasing and inventory documentation. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing administration, or related fields. Strong computer skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting software. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or materials management. Familiarity with inventory planning and forecasting. Experience with Zoho a plus but we can train Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Ensure timely and accurate purchasing. Improve inventory visibility and organization. Build strong supplier relationships and maintain reliable material flow.
Pay:
$23.00 - $33.00 per hour
