About Us Weeks & Leo is a growing pharmaceutical company focused on delivering high-quality products through innovation, efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Associate to join our team and support our procurement and operations functions. Position Overview The Supply Chain Associate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials and packaging components, including chemicals, bottles, caps, and printed materials. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration with production, suppliers, and customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and purchase chemicals, packaging components (bottles, caps), and printed materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors
  • Collaborate with the production team on planning for new and existing orders
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, timelines, and requirements
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Utilize modern tools, including AI platforms (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT), to enhance procurement efficiency and decision-making
  • Demonstrates an understanding of inventory levels and their direct impact on cash flow and working capital.
  • Develops and implements relevant SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance in a GMP environment. Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree + 2-3 years experience or 5-8 years experience in direct sourcing of materials (Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field preferred)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, suppliers, and customers
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-based tools Preferred Skills
  • Experience with an ERP system or an inventory management tool
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in manufacturing What We Offer

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
