Senior MRO Purchasing Specialist (Twin Falls, ID, US)

Job Description
Summary This position is responsible for maintaining Master Data records on storeroom inventory and support of storeroom cost savings initiatives for the maintenance departments.
Responsibilities Create parts information files (PIR) start to finish which includes using approved nomenclature in part description, building manufacturer parts records, verification of price, assigning locations, building supplier parts records, setting reorder points and activation/deactivation of records. Process requests for SAP part number creation on new parts. Maintain all digital forms for parts request and update as needed. Create storeroom inventory locations, perform transfers between locations, reverse receipts entry, validate invoices for Payables. Process requests for new supplier account set-up and gather required documents pertaining to Accounts Payable and Legal. If necessary, create SOW within the scope of work and collaborate with legal on approvals. Update, change or add to existing SAP part files as needed. Identify duplicate and obsolete parts in SAP and gather information to correct in the system. Request quotes from manufacturers on new critical spare parts for the purpose of creating PIR records. Seeks opportunities to reduce inventory and standardization of common parts. Restricted involvement in MRO Purchasing Specialist tasks as outlined for SOX compliance Generate monthly MRO KPI's and perform data pulls for Finance, IT and Maintenance leadership. Act as SAP content expert for Purchasing activities directly related to knowledge gained while working in Projects. Train new MRO Purchasing Specialists and create SOP's. Maintain current SOP training documents and update as needed. Other duties and projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management/supply chain, and/or the purchase of spare parts in a manufacturing environment. Work experience can be used in lieu of degree. Well organized with attention to detail is critical to the business success. Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Requires a high degree of organizational skills, communication, analytical skills and professional ethics in dealing with vendors and customers. Experience with
