Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative purchasing strategies that enhance procurement efficiency and streamline operations. Manage the entire purchasing process from creating and reconciling purchase orders to ensuring timely delivery. Research and evaluate suppliers to meet high quality, price, and reliability standards, ensuring long-term partnerships. Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure favorable delivery terms. Research, explain, and reduce material outages in support of CTS. Manage appropriate inventory levels internally and externally to balance inventory and service. Provide absentee coverage for other Material Planners. Support multiple Businesses through collaboration with Production departments for projects, productivity initiatives, and commercialization's. Execute Material Management goals. Participate on internal project teams. Develop key relationships with internal and external customers through excellent verbal and written communication skills. Assist with Customer Service activities including appointment scheduling, processing customer orders in Metrics, and vehicle sizing. Requirements Have earned a Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of experience in professional buying, purchasing, or related experience. Must possess strong organizational skills and have demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer relations skills Strong Excel skills required and experience with data manipulation - including graphs, pivots, vlookups, etc.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
