Owns the effective execution of Materials Requirements Planning and supply chain planning processes within Rolled Products North America plants to provide best in class service in the areas of Materials Requirements Planning, Pre-Material planning & sourcing and vendor management. This role also partners with Sales, Planning & Operations to determine appropriate levels of pre-material inventory to support customer demand across RA, leveraging MRP best practices and systems. This key role will then manage the relationship with and effective management of sourcing defined materials from internal and external partners in a global setting. Effectively determine correct SKU level items to source across a global network. Responsible for system wide inventory and sourcing to support our customer demand, inventory and service goals. Key process owner and super user within our SAP systems for assigned task and will play a key role within Project WISE (SAP implementation) at several sites in the areas of materials management & production planning during this BU wide project. Own partner relationships (internal and external) to support sourcing needs. Manage vendor relationships in the areas of service, quality, delivery & cost for pre-material purchases. Will serve as the main contact with these vendors and represent BU RA professionally and responsibly. Support Organizational Strategies via team collaborations to identify and implement system level improvements that achieve BU RA performances targets in the key areas of service levels, inventory investments, and operational efficiencies.
