Purchasing Analyst

Purchasing Analyst Salina, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join our growing team. This is an on-site position based from our Corporate Office in Salina, KS. This role typically works Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Collect and analyze data to support decision making Implement new data analysis methodologies Develop and maintain professional knowledge regarding market drivers, market trends, and economic forecasts Provide insightful, timely and accurate procurement category analysis Work directly with management on system and process improvements Develop and maintain supplier KPIs Create content such as presentation slides, reports and process documentation Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment. Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in supply chain, finance or business administration Analytical mind and a keen business sense Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Procurement experience preferred Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal oversight Detail-oriented and critical thinker At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people drive our success, making us an exceptional place to work and thrive.
