Summary/Objective The Business Office functions in a fiscal capacity, The Purchasing section includes procurement and Accounts Payable. The procurement side processes all Purchase requests and Purchase Orders. All requests for goods and services are analyzed to ensure proper procedures are followed and that quotes and pricing information are accurate. In coordination with the procurement section, they ensure all invoices match the request and that all invoices for goods have been received and all services completed. Required Education and Experience High School diploma Three years of Accounting experience Must be able to pass criminal background & drug testing standards (No Pending Court Date or Felony) Preferred Education and Experience College courses in Business Administration, Management, or a related field 3 years in accounting related field Essential Functions Processes all Purchase requests, Credit Card orders and Purchase Orders. Validates all requests before processing to ensure accuracy and conformance to the purchasing policies. Research alternative purchasing options before processing to ensure fiscal responsibility is met. Ensures implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations. Ensures compliance with all ICF regulations and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Learns and f ollows all policies and procedures. Processes all requests for permits and licensing applications for the facility and Community Homes. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage emails, track orders, analyze data, and prepare reports or presentations. Comfortable using procurement or ERP systems and digital recordkeeping tools. Must have excellent verbal and written communication internally and externally.
