This is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional looking to develop a career in purchasing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and purchasing products and services required for business operations. Support the negotiation of prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers. Maintain and update purchasing records and supplier databases. Process purchase orders and ensure they are executed correctly and delivered on time. Vendor performance to ensure cost-effective purchases. Ensure that goods and services meet quality standards and comply with company specifications. Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent shortages. Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing, including maintaining purchase order logs and supplier communications. Assist in resolving any issues related to damaged or incorrect deliveries.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in purchasing, customer service, or inventory management is a plus (1-2 years preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks. Problem-solving attitude. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
