Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this vital role, you will drive the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, products, and services essential to our operations. You will maintain overall responsibility for all aspects of material purchasing, approximately $5-7 M buy annually. Coordinate deliveries of purchases with vendors and customers by mail, e-mail, telephone and/or personal contact. Maintain stock inventory levels within approved guidelines Responsibilities Interact professionally with customers and suppliers Works with internal departments to ensure materials, equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered on time. Source materials, components, packaging and supplies required to meet production requirements and quality standards Support A/P with any billing disputes Process purchase orders and follow-up with vendors as required, ensuring promised delivery dates are met Support Quality and Production with any purchased component quality issues Maintain up-to-date costs and second source quotes on an annual basis Support physical inventory reconciliation
