Job Description:

Senior Buyer - Billerica, MA Manufacturer of precision electromechanical systems seeks an experienced Senior Buyer to own mechanical commodities procurement within a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you'll manage supplier relationships, drive cost reduction, and build supply chain programs that support both production and new product development. What You'll Do Own supplier selection, performance management, and annual improvement objectives for mechanical commodities. Develop and execute commodity strategies to reduce supply base, improve inventory turns, and minimize risk. Lead supplier negotiations and implement agreements with key partners. Support new product development by identifying sources and negotiating pricing. Maintain preferred supplier classifications and execute Grow/Maintain/Rationalize plans.

supplier quality, delivery, cost, safety, and integrity. What You Bring 7+ years in buyer/planner role; sourcing, and contract negotiation experience within a manufacturing environment Commodity experience with custom machining, metal fabrication, sheet metal, and mechanical assemblies International sourcing experience preferred Demonstrated year-over-year savings through strategic sourcing BS/BA and/or

APICS/ISM

certification preferred Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

Compensation:

$80,000-$100,000 + bonus eligible
