Job Description

Job Description Material Production Management (Primary Objective):
  • Check daily MRP batches and exception reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels for parts.
  • Prevent stockouts and production line disruptions while escalating reported issues.
  • Respond to MRP demand signals and production schedules in SAP.
  • Analyze requirements (lead time, inventory, open orders, required dates), before acting.
Purchase Orders:
  • Execute PO's accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate PO data (dates, quantities, pricing).
  • Attach confirmations and documentation.
  • Evaluate cost and pricing during PO decisions.
Supplier Management:
  • Single point of contact for supplier communication.
  • Expedite and problem solve supply issues.
  • Support vendors in ERP.
  • Support Negotiation and Sourcing Activities (as needed).

Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. 3-5+ years of experience in a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or related role in the manufacturing industry. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience. Skilled in SAP (S/4 Hana, ECC strongly preferred). Experience with supplier/vendor management. Purchase order execution experience. Inventory management exposure. Great communication and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Certified Supply Chain Professional. Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP).
