Job Description
Administrative Specialist (Purchasing, Quoting, and Contracts Coordinator) Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for research and a drive to grow? Our client is looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our team in a high-impact, temp-to-hire role. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Compensation:
$16.00 - $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).Status:

Hanover, MD Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Access and navigate government contract portals to identify, pull, and assess potential bids for project viability.CRM Administration:
Maintain and update the contractor CRM system to ensure all contract data, vendor communications, and bid statuses are accurately tracked.Vendor Sourcing:
Research and communicate with vendors to source pricing and availability, ensuring all quotes meet the specific requirements of the bid.Order Coordination:
Assemble comprehensive order packages, ensuring all documentation is accurate and ready for final processing.Data Analysis:
Use Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and create functional spreadsheets to track purchasing trends and contract metrics (beyond simple data entry).Requirements & Qualifications:
Analytical Mindset:
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to research complex information to determine the best course of action.Excel Proficiency:
Must be comfortable using Excel to organize and manipulate data; ability to create formulas and spreadsheets is required. Attention toDetail:
Exceptional accuracy in data entry and document review to ensure all government compliance standards are met.Professional Background:
Prior experience in customer service, sales support, office administration, or general data entry is highly preferred.Growth Orientation:
